Teddy Bear

Now you might be thinking "That is definitely NOT a Shiba Inu" and you would be right. But I figured that the rest of my k9 babies all had a page telling all about them that my big boy Teddy Bear needed one too.

Teddy Bear is a Great Pyrenees that thinks that he is Chihuahua. Now if you are not familiar with the Pyrenees Mountain Dog I will be happy to tell  you a little about them.

The Pyrenees Mountain Dog also known as the Great Pyrenees is a large breed dog dated back to 1407 and used as sheep dogs. They are confident, gentle, and affectionate. While territorial and protective of their flock or family when necessary, their general demeanor is one of composure, both patient and tolerant. They are strong willed, independent and reserved, yet attentive, fearless and loyal to their charges both human and animal.

For this reason I thought Teddy Bear would make an excellent addition to our family both for my kids and for our shiba inu's. I had hoped that I could train Teddy to help me keep the Shiba's in line. Ha. Boy was I wrong.

Teddy is so sweet and gentle he loves to snuggle and hug with a hint of a game of fetch here or there but not for too long. He seems to get separation anxiety really quick and easily. Always looking over his shoulder making sure his human is right there behind him. But that is alright by me though. I have come to love Teddy Bear endlessly.
